Although my husband and I do not smoke or have allergies or even wall-to-wall carpeting, we do live in a very humid climate which promotes mold and mildew growth, I felt it extremely timely and important that we invest in a quality whole-house air purification system. About 3 years ago we purchased our portable system which covers 3000 square feet (with one unit!) and has no costly filters to change. I am continually impressed with the fresh, light air inside our home-when it’s turned off, the air gets noticeably “heavy”. During the winter, the system virtually eliminates any smoke odors from our fireplace - something I had not even considered as a source of indoor air pollution! Others told me about this “deal” or “that deal” They purchased another brand the same time I purchased mine and guess what? Their units are no longer working - Boy, do I feel smug! I would never, ever consider any other whole house air purification system.
